Description
Back to Facility Design and Layout for Lean Manufacturing
Getting the layout right is the most important aspect of lean manufacturing. You can create the optimal facilities plan by minimizing transportation and lost motion so that productivity is greatly improved. By involving and training employees, you facilitate the lean culture at the same time. Creating flexibility in the layout will allow for future growth and product expansion. Finally, using monuments and constraints to your advantage is possible and necessary. Technical Change Associates, Inc. All rights reserved.
