TITANIUM P/M PREFORMS, PARTS AND COMPOSITES

This paper deals with the manufacture of prototype parts of titanium alloys by powder metallurgy. The effect of pressing pressures and sintering on density and mechanical properties are discussed. The manufacture of titanium alloy preforms and the resultant properties or forgings and extrusions from P/M preforms are also discussed.
