Laboratory data are presented investigating the effect of wheelspeed and axial reciprocation upon the grinding characteristics of BORAZON CBN wheels. Using these findings, production internal grinding of small-bore parts was performed and the pertinent results are detailed. The ability of various BORAZON CBN wheels to continually produce commerical quality workpieces under high production conditions is discussed.
