Grinding with Coated Abrasives-- Recent Developments

The use of wide coated belts for high rate stock removal operations on large surfaces is receiving increased attention due to development of improved abrasive minerals, adhesives, and backings. These improvements are described and examples of some new high-rate grinding operations which use wide coated abrasive belts are given.
