Statistical Process Control

Improvement toward an ideal industrial system in any manufacturing arena is predicated on an appropriate and sound foundation. Quality is frequently approached from a product control perspective. The quest for an improved competitive position for the future is greatly enhanced by focusing on the process rather than the product. The use of statistical methods, the control chart in particular, is not a solution for all industrial ills. For effective improvements in quality and productivity, however, statistical methods provide efficient and effective guidelines.
