Statistical Process Control in Group Technology Production Environment

This paper presents a step-by-step methodology for implementing statistical process control in group technology manufacturing environment. Measurement techniques are developed for production quality variables. A case study from actual implementation of statistical process control concepts and techniques in a printed circuit board production environment is presented. Problems encountered during implementation are discussed, as well as ways to correct them.
