A Tribo-Technological View Of Grinding

In the present work we focus our attention to some technological and tribological aspects of metal carbide processing by surface grinding. The link between the two series of parameters respectively technological and tribological ones is obtained by the term "equivalent grinding thickness" (HKEQE) utilized as an independent variable. In clarifying some internal aspects of the wear process for the diamond active layer, we have investigated the situation by the aid of some physical methods (scanning electron microscopy). The presence of all four main types of diamond wear was put into light.
