EDM Dielectric Fluid "Buying Smart"

The purpose of this paper is to clarify the following points: give definitions commonly seen on specification and/or material safety data sheets. Present these terms in layman's language as it pertains to their area of expertise. Explain the desirable characteristics of an EDM fluid and the benefits they will give versus the hazardous ingredients not commonly recognized in lower quality fluids. Show a comparison of a low quality EDM fluid versus a high quality EDM fluid before and after use. A comparison chart to use in the selection process of purchasing the correct EDM fluid.
