Introduction To Data/Document Management Systems

This presentation provides an introduction to date/document management systems (DDMS) used by manufacturing firms. These systems manage product information and related documents from product conception through engineering, and out to the plant floor. The systems discussed include traditional document management, product data management, shop floor control systems, and the integration of these systems into a unified DDMS.
