Mechanical Techniques for Cleaning, Finishing and Deburring Plastic, Ferrous and Nonferrous Materials

This paper will cover use of heads, conveyors, wheels, brushes and compounds for the purpose of deburring plastic, ferrous and nonferrous materials. Also given are examples of processes and the use of the many deburring medias and compounds in various applications, including discussion of types of burrs to be removed, types of finishes acquired, and reasons for and uses of end product after finishing.
