Practical Creep Feed Grinding

This paper contains experimental investigations of several important elements of creep feed grinding. Several tests were conducted to study the effects of coolant concentration, temperature, and application; grinding wheel porosity; changes in wheel diameter; truing and dressing techniques with diamond rolls; and how they relate to grinding performance. Practical applications of both aluminum oxide and CBN creep feed wheels are discussed.
